Choose a method for locating the fault
The Map locator allows you to indicate where the highways fault is on a Map of Cumbria. You will then be asked to provide further details about the fault.
Using the location form
The location form allows you to provide written details on the location of the fault. If you are using Internet Explorer 7 to report a fault, then you need to ensure that Internet Explorer 7 will allow cookies from the Cumbria Highways site. Click here to view a document, outlining how to configure Internet Explorer 7's cookie options.
Using the map locator
To use the Map locator - you will need to accept a download that allows you to view the Map now and on successive visits. If you have already done this on a previous visit, you do not need to repeat the download. The download may not work depending on your computer's access rights and you may need to seek permission from your computer administrator. The browser, Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later is compatible with the Map locator software and we will automatically check that your browser is compatible with the software. If it is not, we will offer you a download. If you wish to download the MapGuide Viewer ActiveX Control and manually install it, please visit download.autodesk.com/esd/mapguide/SP1/ENG/MgControl6.5SP1.exe (this link will open in a separate window). You can also download a newer version of Microsoft Internet Explorer from Microsoft's Internet Explorer Website (this link will open in a separate window). Download times for the software will depend on your connection speeds - the following times give an indication of the time you can expect:
